“The best Italian restaurant in the area by far. This is a family owned establishment with authentic recipes that will make you coming back time and time again. Their balsamic salad dressings, marinara sauce, penne ala vodka and gnocchi are some of the standouts. Probably the best Italian in Putnam Counrty. The Veal, Sole or Chicken Francese uses the most “lemony” and tangy sauce I’ve had locally. It’s a fearless Francese, like God intended. We’re repeat attenders. Urbanspoon.com

Gino’s is the only place my picky Italian family will go out to eat. My father used to bring catering up from the bronx when we had parties. When he tried Gino’s catering we now bring Gino’s catering down to the bronx. ENOUGH SAID!! Chef/Owner Marco even delivers it for us no charge and goes all over westchester, putnam and dutchess counties. You feel like family when you go there. Gino, Marco and their mom Ivana run a great place.
My Favorite appetizer is the Rosemary Grilled Shrimp in a sour orange mojo!!!! It is a cuban sauce and my cuban friend said this sauce is great. You wouldn’t expect a nice dish like this in an italian place. Chefs Marco and Gino have many great different sauces. Another one is their blackened salmon in an organic pomegranate reduction which my husband always orders. Don’t be fooled by a few people who dont know what they are talking about. Try them once and you will be hooked like us.
